These rankings use live community vote totals across the MilSim.io directory. They are a useful first signal of a unit’s visibility and member support.
Choose a game below to explore its full community directory and find a unit that fits your preferred platform.
Live directory
The biggest milsim communities on the internet, ranked by their members.
Every community on MilSim.io is a real unit with real operations, real rank structures, and real people voting for them. These rankings are pulled live from member votes across the directory, then ordered by community visibility. Use them as a starting point to shortlist units, then dig into each profile for game fit, region coverage, and operating style.
Why trust these rankings
Rankings are community-driven, not paid placement. Voting happens on each community profile page by verified members. We surface partnered units, featured placements, and token totals separately so you can tell organic momentum apart from promotion.
How to evaluate a unit from a ranking
Ranking momentum is a starting signal, not a verdict. Open any community profile to check Discord activity, ORBAT depth, recent operations, and event cadence. The communities with sustained activity are the ones you'll actually deploy with on a Saturday night.

What unit leaders say
Field-tested by active communities.
"My time with MilSim.io has been pleasant. The staff were friendly and forthcoming when we set up our community — a service I would recommend for units that need help organising ORBATs and campaigns."
Maj Quinn
Major // 12 ABCT
"MilSim.io is easy to explore and self-explanatory. The selection of units and communities is excellent, and I love the C2 website. Overall amazing — 9/10."
Maj Ray
Major // 3 SCOTS
"I came across MilSim.io through an Arma 3 unit and was amazed at how useful it was. Using it in my own unit has done wonders for organisation, rank structure, ORBATs, and integrating C2 with our Discord. I would recommend it to any MilSim, StarSim, or similar military structure for awards, personnel tracking, and events."
