Arma 3 directory
Arma 3 still runs the deepest milsim ecosystem on PC.
More than a decade after release, Arma 3 remains the platform of choice for serious realism units, persistent campaigns, and historical-milsim portrayals. This page tracks the most active Arma 3 communities on MilSim.io with live rankings, region coverage, and Discord signals — so you can find a unit that fits your timezone and playstyle without grinding through 30 different Discords.
Why Arma 3 milsim is different
A3 milsim units tend to be more structured than other games — multi-platoon ORBATs, formal qualification tracks, and weekly operation cadence. If you've played a few hundred hours and want the real thing, this is where you'll find it.
What to check on an Arma 3 unit
Look for units running mods that match the era you want (modern, Cold War, Vietnam, WW2). Check whether they run scheduled ops weekly and whether attendance data is public. The disciplined ones publish their last 90 days of attendance on their profile.
